Spring Kimono (Harugi) ( Winter Clothes)

Carpe Diem # 641 Spring Kimono (Harugi)
Can't exactly relate to the Spring Kimono in January so did something a little more familiar to me.

pristine leather
mink oil rubbed in
new winter boots

ribbons and lace
fresh starched cotton
new Sunday dress

new scarf and gloves
donned to greet
winter’s first snow

  1. It's always exciting to have new clothing, especially to greet the snow!

    1. This year mine is just a very soft scarf, which I'm wearing in the house because of the cold ... and it's just soft.

  3. As I was a child we had what we called "sunday-clothing", clothing especially for the sunday and church. Those clothes changed several times a year as we (my brother and I) got new "sunday clothes" ...

    1. Having lots of siblings, most of my new clothes were hand me downs, but It made the new ones stand out so much more in my memory.
