Tangerine is such a good synonym for orange.. I wrote some triolets on the same theme once... https://brudberg.wordpress.com/2014/09/16/our-tangerine-of-ends-travel-triolets-for-dverse/
yes, those colours really seem to melt into each other. I much prefer tangerine and apricot shades of orange. A bit easier on the eye and softer somehow.
Beautiful, Dolores! I love that orange fireball -- one of my favorite sights along the roadway -- seeing the sinking sun burning through bare tree limbs. And the poison ivy is so beautiful!
As I started this new feature I was really anxious to see how tgis would evolve ... but as I read your haiku (all three gorgeous) than I really know that it was a great idea to bring old prompts again ... nice triplet of haiku Dolores, your third is a shining star
Beautiful. We were in the Florida Keys last week and in one of the Hammocks (forests) there was a poison ivy tree. I had a bad case one year - so I stay away from that plant. But I can see all your photos at my place. The only difference is the sun is caught by the trees at sunset.
Best to you and yours this New Year. I played: Here
