Intentions

Carpe Diem's Haiku Shuukan   This week's prompt Intentions

I was going to write about a daffodil, but our host already wrote a beautiful gem about these.

  1. You're right his haiku is a gem! I really like your last haiku- it's fun how nature survives with tiny bits like the fly carrying away future stinkhorns. So, I'm presuming that that plant does not have a lovely fragrance. lol

    1. They are pretty fowl, but fun to watch grow. One year we found a 1 inch white start of one and placed it on a plate of water and watched it split open and grow to over 7 inches in two day.

  2. I love these interpretations of the prompt ---- quite striking! They get your attention, that's for sure. But it's good to celebrate / explore the less beautiful things in life.
