Glacier

Carpe Diem #625 Glacier

I know nothing of glaciers so was at a loss, until I read Hamish ‘Managua’ Gunn's post on the beauty and the danger of the glaciers.  Then I found some pictures to further my inspiration.

looms against the arctic sky
beautifully dangerous
deep caverns traverse beneath

  1. Ice demons is right -- the glaciers can dangerous monsters indeed!
But --- they can be gorgeous too.

  2. That tanka was also tinged with a touch of legend - which is exactly how it should be, there was a real sense of drama - in what is a dramatic landscape. So very nicely done. I am very honoured by your beautiful words in the mention. Thank you so much.
