Christmas Decorations

winter wonderland

trees bedecked
in natures finest jewels
winter morning

Since I love homemade Christmas decorations our tree and house are usually full of an eclectic mix of old and new.  Some years we work together making new ornaments to hang, once from necessity, now as a fun tradition

hung on my tree

Christmas time
icicles and snowflake fairies

twinkling icicle lights

  1. Oh I love the snowflake ballerinas - what fun. We always made ours as well now my grown children are making faces at all the things we made long ago.

    1. So true! I love those really ugly pieces of art they couldn't bare to part with and now beg you to throw away. (I'm thinking of a particularly hideous rabbit)

  3. What beautiful decorations!!!!

I still have the egg-carton-and-tempera-paint star my parents made for my first Christmas. Home made decorations are the best :)
