Oak trees and the moon.
Light and mute constellations.

moonshine and pine trees
night noises and silent pauses
rednecks on the mountain

fenceposts and wire
gentle cows and running horses
and Kentucky roadways

parking meters and trashcans
flashing signals and streetlights
and endless concrete
