Jack Kerouak prompt

Here are a few haiku written by Jack Kerouac:

In my medicine cabinet,
the winter fly
has died of old age.

The summer chair
rocking by itself
In the blizzard

My attempts to write in the same spirit:

in the lamp globe
30 ladybugs
dehydrated

~

 wildflowers picked
among the nettles
beauty short lived

~

military gravestones
poised in white formation
all dominos fall

  1. What a great response - they're all fantastic, but I can really see Kerouac in the first :)
